Birds of a feather flock together

Proverbial Meaning: People with the same or similar tastes tend to congregate together.

Literal Origins: Birds of the same type flock together.

Common Usage: This proverb is fairly well-known in the shortened form "Birds of a feather", but is more often used to describe brothers or sisters or close friends who do lots of things together than simply people who like the same things.
