Proverbial Meaning: Don't feel downhearted when your job becomes too difficult. Or, more recently, think nothing of it, I/we do this all the time in our job.

Literal Origins: All manner of things can happen during a day at work.

Common Usage: This proverb is very well-known and quoted regularly, especially when one has finished relating the story of a very hard, or strange, day at work, as a response to sympathy.
