He that is down need fear no fall

Proverbial Meaning: The higher up you are, in social status, a pecking order or rank et cetera, the greater your downfall will be.

Literal Origins: If you occupy a lowly position in life you will not concern yourself with fears of losing your place. However, if you occupy a high position in life, or are very rich, your mind may be plagued by fears of losing your status and money.

Common Usage: This proverb is not commonly used.
